Local Action Group for Urban Natur Experience

The LAGUNE is a working group of BUND (Friends of Earth) and comprises six people with qualifications and experience in urban planning, restoration ecology and horticulture. It recognises the enormous potential and the contribution that brownfield sites can make to sustainability in urban areas, especially with the involvement and participation of local communities. LAGUNE co-operates and is in partnership with the City Council from which it receives financial and administrative support.

- Scientific studies and practical work

- Advanced training/education

- Representations to public authorities in relation to environmental and social issues

- Public relations and networking

- negotiating contracts

- the formulation of ideas for regenerating and enhancing brownfield sites for nature

- Fund raising
